Len Nisbett Award (Country Band)

The Award
Len Nisbett joined the Bunbury City Band in 1912, becoming the conductor in 1965.
Len was a keen musician, teaching many local youths in Bunbury to play instruments, forming the youth band at Bunbury Senior High School in 1970.
Len was an active member of the Bunbury community music scene until his retirement in 1985.
This award, named in his honour and is presented annually to the country band with the highest aggregate score (the total score from the Hymn/Slow, Test and March).
